Thanks, that PDF is the "Whats New" not the DB schema.

Just make sure you check each revisions list from what your moving from to to. There maybe things listed for depreciation in 2008R2...

You will need to look through the depreciated features list and swap out the old way of doing it for the new way of doing it as detailed in books...

Not got perfmon running, but do have a trace running as we are diagnosing a separate issue.

Correct "DATABASE" is an obfuscated value for the true user database name.
As this is an SSIS package which runs via an agent, the connection manager is setting the initial catalog...

Elapsed time was 16.942 seconds - doesn't seem to tie with a Login Timeout of either 10 or 30 seconds?
I didn't think so either...
...unless the first 10 second was trying...
