The only problem is that we have only seen the issue twice, so we won't know if anything we do actually will actually fix it...

When we get it, the CPU and RAM are at normal levels. Also it is during normal operation, not during a backup.

Do you know if that script will work on a MSSQL 2005 server that is not using partitions?
