Do you have DTC services turned on in services.

I just uninstalled it all and reinstalled SQL to the correct paths .....

Ok i got the links up from kendal.
Now from what im reading this is what i got to go check with AD people,
set the SQLServer account and the USER...

The deadlocks blocks is tough to graph but i would suggest using this tool

Glad to hear your SP3 went well, just before i do my install,
I have three physical (ACTIVE, ACTIVE and PASSIVE).
Both ACTIVE fail to PASSIVE.
So did you just leave them...

The script would do the entire data and not backup only 2 years worth of data cause it partitioned.
Its a good question why would you back up the entire database...

I had the same problem, the backups jobs in maintenance would suddenly just run forever and ever.
I never resolved the problem and it happened more than once even microsoft could...
