Another option is
1) Don't give delete permission to normal users
2) Allow delete only from the stored procedure. In the stored procedure, save the required information.

Yours principal and mirror server are SQL 2008 version. Witness is 2005.
Also Witness IP (10.0.*.*) is different from others.
