    You have 2 sockets and 8 processors.

    Except if you licence Per Processor, you only pay for 2 licences, not 8.

    As Leo said, check the scripts and verify them. If you have tsql scripts in the commands with GO statements it could foul up the execution of your scripts.

    Servername\InstanceName

    or just

    Servername

    ?

    Easy one today, although it seems the 'truncate is not logged'-myth stills seems pretty persistent.

    Too persistent -it's like a nasty virus.
