How frequently does the data on this dashboard need to be updated? Is it an hourly thing, daily thing or up to the second type of thing?

You can use a query such as this

Your [Dead_Lock_Log] [varchar](max) probably had some off-row data (blobs). If you recently deleted the records, the size information can lag behind due to the blob info.
