    What about a simple backup and restore? Or are you trying to build some sort of deployment mechanism?

    If the passive node is going to be used for failover then "YES" you would need to enable "lock pages in memory" for this node.

    the backup is bappening only once in a day so i can schedule it after 30 mins after the backup schedule.

    I might give it a little more time...

    I agree with the editorial. It is important to remain cool under pressure. That task is much more difficult when you have 30 managers watching over your back....
