    This method would allow the OP to place a transaction in both stored procedures (thus nest the transactions).

    Actually, Luke, TDWI's CBIP certification requires recertification every three years. Part of what can be used for recertification credits includes Teaching/Lecturing/Presenting where one would get credit for...
