Interestingly, "Loose Coupling" is how Microsoft describes Service Broker's use in applications development.

In my experience, heterogeneous replication is best implemented in SQL Server with Service Broker.

I am a little curious, why can't you just script the database that you have modeled or reverse engineered and then propagate that script?

This essentially is what you can do with Service Broker, only without having to use xp_CmdShell.

You should be aware of course that if the strings are being provided by other users, that this would be an injection target.

Your ProductAttribute is really a ProductAttributeValue table and it should not have the ProductAttributeID in it as it can be completely determined by the AttributeValueID.
Unless, the AttributeValueID is not really...
