    Tried this:

    DECLARE @KeepItQuiet TABLE ( ForgetMessage varchar ( 1024 ) );

    INSERT INTO @KeepItQuiet

    (

    ForgetMessage

    )

    EXEC sp_updatestats;

    Problem is, sp_updatestats does not return a result set, it prints its output, and...

    Speed is secondary to risk...
