That's kinda what I thought on the connections...I was testing on my local machine with SSIS connecting and no issues...We have a 'mgmt' type server that I'm gonna create...

Thanks Lowell...That fixed...I was on that path and had almost figured out...
One quick question...What would happen if you created a logon trigger like below...ie...Did not let anyone logon from SSMS...AND...Then...

I finally figured out...The ftp server had some kinda port setting that I'm not sure how to describe...But...
I had to set the passive flag on the connection and it works...
