Separate table, no. The way to handle this is to pull that separate table into your dataset query.

Look at your parameter data. Does any of it have a quotation mark in the actual data?

subtract column group values from each other in a tablix
=ReportItems!textBoxName1.Value - ReportItems!textBoxName2.Value
This should work if you are subtracting within the same scope (Group or detail)

In SSIS you can use a Derived Column transformation and use REPLACE. You will find it in the String Functions folder in the Derived Column transform
