Yeah I don't think there is such an option for a report parameter. If you were setup with a cube you would be able to define this at the dimension/measure...

The Channel9 Wiki has some great screen casts demonstrating how to accomplish a lot of the tasks with the SQL 2005 BI tools. It doesn't however explain conceptually to well...

I have not heard that this is possible in my experience but one thing you would be able to do is to display this in the label of the parameter...

TIFF is a native export format for SSRS reports. Not sure how you could send them directly to a fax w/o writing your own custom delivery extension...
