Open up one of the jobs and go to the Notifications page.
Where it says E-mail does it say "When the job succeeds"?

The recovery model is Simple. I thought with this option changes would be committed immediately and not save them to the log. BTW - full backups are done...

Try Sqlservr.exe -m
or Sqlservr.exe -m -s INSTANCENAME if it's a named instance

Can you be a bit clearer about exactly what you want? It sounds as though you want somebody to send you one of their backup files, which can't be right.

By default it's located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Binn
but it depends on your installation. Have a look there first.
