SQL Server 2000 EM allows a "hands on touch" of table data, with a right-click and "open". Where is this ability available in Yukon? One can always use a query but it's not the same feel as a quick look through EM.
Also, regarding synonyms: Does anyone know if it is possible to CREATE SYNONYM for an object using OPENDATASOURCE or OPENROWSET, and if so what is the syntax in Yukon?
TIA

This feature IS available in Yukon. Its in SQL Server Management Studio.
Which release version are you on? It wasn't in earlier versions until people complained (loudly).
