Windows Server 2003 SP2 v Windows Server 2008

    Hi, i need to select the most stable/best performing version of Windows on which to install SQL Server 2005 SP2 and PerformancePoint Server 2007, does anyone have any strong opinions regarding the suitability of Windows server 2008 (Sp1) v Windows Server 2003 SP2 ?

    Absolutely Stable I'd probably pick Windows 2003 R2 SP2 just because it's been out for long and tested

    But in general I would pick Windows 2008, I've heard about the performance improvements in OS level, and working with SQL Server (especially 2008, don't know about 2005)
