Windows Security prompt when Internet Explorer users export to Excel/Word

  Hi.

  I have a quirky little annoyance with SQL Server Reporting Services - maybe someone out there experienced the same?

  Problem:

  Customers using Internet Explorer exports a report to Excel or Word and opens directly.

  Greeted with a "Windows Security" prompt (in Windows) with Excel or Word icon.

  If the customer cancels the dialog the report shows as normal.

  Works correctly:

  If the customer chooses "Save as" and opens file.

  Exporting to a different format (PDF).

  Open directly in a different browser (Firefox).

  Setup:

  Service Account: Network Service

  SQLEXPRESS 10.50.1600.1 (Express Advanced Edition)

  Uncommented <RSWindowsNegotiate/> in rsreportserver.config with no apparent effect.

  Any hints much appreciated.
