Windows Logon vs SQL Server 'SA' Logon

  • How can I eliminate SQL SERVER 2005 from authenticating users through WINDOWS LOGON and simply use SQL SERVER 'SA' username and password or other such defined users?

  • You can't disable Windows Authentication. The best you can do is not grant access to your servers to windows user or group accounts. If you don't authorize them access, they can't connect or access your servers.
