will update of sql server 2000 service pack affect Analysis Services?

    Hi, I plan to update the patch of my ms sql server database.Right now, it has never tasted any update. Will it affect my Analysis services? Thanks .

    In SQL 2000 the services packs for SQL and Analysis are installed seperately. So I don't think so.. But you should still test..
