will sql job still run after I log off remote desktop

  I log into a sql server using remote desktop. I started a SQL agent job, the job will run about 5 hours to finish.

  My question is I started the job, but I don't want the remote desktop open, can I log off the remote desktop connection, and will the job still run on the server?

  yes, terminal services does not affect sql server agent jobs
