i am working in small software concern(2 months experience).they give me a option to choose php or .net.
i am confused bcoz some say choose php it will overtake .net in future. some say .net have good career
so please give ur opinion

I'd figure it doesn't matter - probably dot net will open more microsoft house doors. Never believe those who tell you one something will replace another. When I started 16 years ago with sql server I was told that unix/linux would replace windows and I should work with Oracle as sql server would never catch on.
Personally I'd learn both, it never helps to widen your skills - programming is essentially the same - it's just the language you use ( in a very generalised way of course )

There are a number of factors to consided in making this choice. You may want to know both nut put you intial emphasdid on ome and then become proficient on the other.
Do you intend to work in a Microsoft Shop or are more inclined to go open systems?
