Hi, I have a customer that runs a SQL 2000 database at a hosting center. I am working on a project that need to creat some new tables, but I don't have SQL 2000. Is there a download for only the client version of SQL 2000 with enterprise manager? that way I can use enterprise manager to creat/manager my customer's database.
thanks

Easiest way is to get an evaluation copy of SQL Server (either from Microsoft or buy one of the many books that include eval copies). Then just install the client tools. The evaluation license only applies to the database server.
Hope this helps

The evaluation copy is a great idea, but why not own your very own copy of SQL Server. The price of buying the developer edition of SQL Server 2000 has dropped. Here is a site selling it for $42.60. I see no reason why a consultant/contractor can not afford to have there own version at this price.
