what etl tool are folks moving toward?

  • well...it wasnt MS, but rather a consulting firm that is notified when you chat on their website where adf is advertised.  Its actually 2 consulting firms and you pick one.

the one i chose was nice enough to spend time with me even after they realized i wasnt looking for consulting services.  And one thing i heard from them that i'd have to verify was that you dont need what they called Fabric (i thought adf was part of that) to use ADF on smaller data sources.   But if you use both (not sure what that means) you'll be charged for cu's on both.   And there is no licensing involved on either.
