Hello, I've installed SQL SERVER EXPRESS 2008 R2 With Advanced services on my fresh new HP server (Windows 2012 R2).
The detail log file reports errors on VSTA component setup:
2017-03-08 11:47:04 SSIS: Running: c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\vsta.exe /hostid SSIS_ScriptTask /setup
2017-03-08 11:47:27 SSIS: Application failed with error -1: c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\vsta.exe /hostid SSIS_ScriptTask /setup
2017-03-08 11:47:27 SSIS: Running: c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\vsta.exe /hostid SSIS_ScriptComponent /setup
2017-03-08 11:49:48 SSIS: Application failed with error -1: c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\vsta.exe /hostid SSIS_ScriptComponent /setup
The summary log file reports that setup process is successfully completed
Could I trust this SQL installation? Are corrective actions required to fix VSTA component?
Thanks in advance.

I would guess you would be okay as those components wouldn't normally install on Express with Advanced Services. You would only have the Import/Export wizard and the data source connectors on that edition.
