Trying to understand how a view could be dropped and not be captured as a DDL schema change.
I'm thinking maybe a dependancy change but I don't see anything on those tables either.
See attached history any thoughts appreciated.

Do you have a DDL trigger defined that should have caught this and didn't?
You should have a row in the Default Trace for this. IT would show as an Obect:Deleted event.

wierd about the attachments.
We do run traces and this definitely something we keep track of which is why I was lost on how i could have missed a dropped. Mystery has been solved.
The only other way this could happen is if the database was restored from another source and that source doesn't contain the view.
I did the question on recent restored, the answer was no and i took that for gospel; next time I won't trust what I'm hearing and I'll just look myself
