How do I view and process data from several sources over a network using SQL Server 2005? (Microsoft Visual Studio)?? Do I have to insert labeled tables which will view and hold data or a data mining task? I have just started using SQL without any help or prior training, just tutorials and some ebooks I havent really studied...
Would appreciate any help!!!:-D

It depends on exactly what you are trying to do with the data. You could do linked servers or use SSIS to copy data to a new database.

I will try to give a short explanation.. There are 10 stations, each station with 2 different machines, those same 2 machines are in all 10 stations. I just want a central station to be able to view the data from the two machines combined of all ten stations, and to be able to print it.. Data is in HL7 format..
If possible I can e-mail you a pdf explaining a bit more clearly.
Thanks for your reply!! I hope to hear from you soon..
