  hi

   

  i have connected my SQL SERVER through ODBC to C programming language

  what i am trying to do it to retrieve a UTF 8 string stored in the NVARCHAR field in the sql server database but i am not able to get the string

  the C program is working fine with other data types like varchar ,text etc but not with NVARCHAR UTF 8 string is not being retrieved

  can any body help me ?????????

  I too have the same problem, simple table, nvarchars everywhere, storing valid Japannese chars, when i run the in SQL Managment Studio they are Japannese, when I try to return them to a website, they turn into ????

  Help?
