I want to download excel file that has been shared with me on Sharepoint.

So i used an OData Source, which i enter my shared URL into the service document location with my credentials, and i get a

'Test Connection Succeeded'  GREAT. see image

    OData Connection success

When i try to configure an Odata source and use the Odata connection, with Use collection or resource path as 'Resource Path' i get...

    OData Source Error

Can someone point me in the right direction please.

    Kind Regards

I have not tried doing this, but as far as I can see, the OData connection gives you access to the data in SharePoint lists, not to the data stored in files which have been loaded into SharePoint.

Take a look at this thread and see whether it helps.

If the answer to your question can be found with a brief Google search, please perform the search yourself, rather than expecting one of the SSC members to do it for you.
