Using osql.exe cannot handle ascii extended characters

    I have learned that using isqlw.exe command line (instead of isql.exe and osql.exe) handles extended ascii characters like "·" and "Æ" correctly. I am wondering if there is a way to still use osql.exe (when importing sql files) that will handle these extended ascii characters correctly.

    Hi Newbie,

    I have actually had an inverse of your experience where I have to use OSQL to handle our patch files that have extended ascii and Unicode characters. Could you post some sample data and a snippet of code that demonstrates your problem?
