Using dts to monitor iss web sever and sql/oracle database sever

    Can dts package be used to monitor a iss web serve and sql/oracle database server? Working code and example is really needed.

    What type of system monitoring are you referring to?

    By monitoring I mean checking if the homepage of a website on an iss web server is up, or a window service on a window server is running.  I already know how to use a ping or tnsping in a job service to monitor a ip address or a data base domain name.
