Some users(Enpterprise manager-->Database-->Users) in SQL Server 2000 shows blank loginname in front of them?
Under Database access they have 'Via group memebership' displayed against them.
Are these users a valid user on this server? I don't see them as a valid login on this server? Will they be able to access this database? If yes, then how?
Please help.

Presumably the usernames have the format DOMAIN\User. They will be Windows users who are a member of a Windows group that has been granted rights in SQL Server. Check SQL Server logins for Windows groups & check the group membership to confirm.
