user not able to connect to reportingserver from mgmt studio

  Hi,

  I created a newid(windows authen) and gave default permissions for this user on Repotserver&RStemp dbs. He is able to connect to analysisserver/database engine but not reportingserver from his mgmt studio.

  Should i give any other role specifically to access reportingserver for this user?

  Note: The userid is a part of RSExec role but  he cannot access the url also. Gets a error RSAccessdenied..

  Someone please suggest?

  I have no idea of what the problem is, but a few things to try.

  1. Can you log into the reporting server using the SA password and access the data?  This will tell you if it is a permission issue.
  2. SQL configuration: Is TCPIP turned on
  3. Machine configuration:  the services? does it require RPC or DTC turned on? 

  Can anyone else add anything?
