Use the following server option disabled when configuring a Publisher server

    Hello,

    I'm trying to configure a publisher server (sql2k) with a remote distributor (sql2k), but when I arrive to the Select Distributor screen, the Use the folling server option is disabled ???.... Does anyone know why ?,... and what I have to do to enable the option ?.

    I already enable the Publisher in the distributor. The option is enabled in all the other servers but not in the one I need

    Any help will be appreciated.

    FYI.

    I've already detected the problem..... the Publisher has Personal Edition installed on it, and this edition doesn't support Remote Distributor and either Transactional Publication.

    I couldn't check it yesterday because I don't have access to the 'Edition' property of the remote server.
