Hi friends,
We would like to upgrade the SQL Server 7 to SQL 2k.We are doing datawarehousing (ROLAP model).We are not useing the OLAP (MOLAP) server.We have OLTP application too.
No of DB = 12
5 DBs approx size 25GB and 2 DBs size are 100GB.
I have DEV,TEST and PROD server.
I can't have a new server to have clean 2k installation and move the DBS.
I have to use the same server(7) upgrade to 2K.
Right now I'm using the TEST system for upgrade process.
Could you give ur valuble experiance and details to me?
If any of you guys have any upgrade doc and could you send it to me pls!

Sorry, haven't upgraded analysis services, but we have upgraded numerous v7 servers and they work great. I'd take a full backup and then run the upgrade and you should be ok.
