As I understand it from another DBA, that I cannot upgrade SQL Server 2005 Express SP2 to SP3 because the Express SP3 package is a complete database package and running it would only install/create a new instance.
I also understand that moving the stuff from SP2 to the new SP3 instance is troublesome because you cannot move the data.
Do I have this right?
Has anyone else had to overcome this problem and how did they do so?
