Hi!
I'm running sql server 2008 r2 (64-bits) RTM (10.50.1600.1) and want to upgrade to SQL Server 2012 Enterprise. What is the upgrade path ? do i have to reboot the server ?
Many thanks.

Hi Perry,
i already visited the link you suggested. The sql server 2008 r2 rtm version is not listed. so i think i have to go first to SQL server 2008 R2 sp1 (SQLServer2008R2SP1-KB2528583-x64-ENU.exe) first.
is there anything special to do or to install before installing sp1 ?
thank you

apart from the obvious, check you have backups before starting, no. Install the service pack and then upgrade
