Update systemtables in 2005

Is there a way to upgrade system tables in sql 2005, in this case it´s the table below
sys.sysfulltextcatalogs

upgrade ??
according to bol sys.sysfulltextcatalogs is for backward compatibility only.
Did you check sys.fulltext_catalogs ?
