Some old backups were deleted.
Is there a good toll that can be used to recover them.
I used one many years ago but I could not find it.

I used Recuva, some free app on http://www.piriform.com/recuva recently to get some stuff from a folder that was deleted on Win7 / 64, it worked, but others may know of other programs .

I installed it today before this post. Tested it by deleting a file and it did not work.
I did not test it on the Server because the LUN became offlie.
I will reinstall and give it a another shot.
Thanks.

It appears that it the files are still listed for recovery after they have been recovered?

I recovered a lot of SSIS Package Files that had a modify date of the current date.
It is really smart that the SSIS Packages are stored in the FIle System and there are hundreds.
Unfortunately these packages load data from an AS400 DB2 Database that is under vendor control.
They deleted a bunch of stuff in one day. The drive went from 12% free to 66% free.:w00t::crying:
