I had installed SQL server 2005 on my system (OS: XP pro, sp2). Then i installed SQL server management studio. However Next day I got DVD of SQL server 2005, i thought i should uninstall express edition. I uninstalled it from control panel. But Dont know why there was some problem in my system like I was getting errors and system was running very slow I did system restore (Date selected was the day when I installed management studio). Because of which After every restart I was getting error that some files from SQL sever are missing and Install SQL server again.
This time again I uninstalled it from control panel. But still I can see it in my all programms menu.
And when I try to install SQL server again I get error to uninstall SQL server.
I also checked in program files and I can not see any folder for SQL server.
One more thing I uninstalled only those things from control panel which had SQL server in their name. I did not removed MSXML and other .NET components.
What should I do in this case.?
