Hello everyone, I have had an error occur and although I have found SIMILAR errors online, none match exactly what I have here, there is no mention of a scheduler (like the ones I have found online) and the server is not part of a cluster. We will be upgrading soon, so if it is not serious, I may be able to put up with it for now. Its not regular, just now and then. Anyway, here is the error in full...
Error(s) detected. See below for details:
ServerName LogDate ProcessInfo LogText
----------- ------------------- ----------- ------------------------------------------
[ServerName] Mar 8 2011 10:03PM Server ***Unable to get thread context - no pss
[ServerName] Mar 8 2011 10:03PM Server * BEGIN STACK DUMP:
[ServerName] Mar 8 2011 10:03PM Server Stack Signature for the dump is 0x000001CF
Anyone seen this before? Thank you for reading.

Its ok, I think an application is just trying to access the DB while its being backed up.

Backups in SQL are online and don't stop apps from connecting or querying.
Stack dumps are problems. Check that you're on the latest patch (SP4), if you are then contact CSS (customer support) as they have the tools to debug stack dumps.

Thanks Gail, we are actually behind on on SP's so I'll make some moves there.
