Is there a complete checklist or something like that regarding SSRS deployment? I've tried every way to deploy reports, tried every tweak and suggestion and I still get the login screen. When I add my ID and password it doesn't accept it. When I installed reporting services, I installed it without any custom options.
I'm sure it's one of those "Why didn't I think of that" but so far I have had no success, especially since everything else works fine!

The login prompt can be resolved if you are in a company network by IE tools internet options Security Lan IP address exclusion but if you are in XP try using trusted sites also in security and including the SSRS url. Now that just gives you access but the permissions must also be defined in report manager before you can run the reports based on the permissions you define in report manager. If the above does not work then check the thread below in the middle of that page I have posted the long version which covers most known issues.
