I opened a new window in Enterprise Manager from the Console Root that points to another server and now I can not close the new window. Clicking on the X in the top right corner of the window does nothing. I have SP-3 on a Windows 2000 PC using the Developers Edition of SQL Server. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem or know how I can fix it?

Try killing the spid from task manager

I've had this happen sometimes as well with different network apps. You can also use "right-click close" if you don't want to open Task Manager or if it isn't responding. HTH.
