HI,
I have created a custom Pipeline component for SSIS using 3.5 framework.
I have placed the DLLs in the "\100\DTS\Pipepline Components" folder and also published it to the GAC. But when i try to add the new component to the toolbox from the "SSIS Data Flow Items" i dont see the assemly in the dialog box.
If this might help, I see the custom tasks i have added. I just dont see the custom pipeline components.
SQL version: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (SP1) - 10.0.2531.0 (Intel X86) Mar 29 2009 10:27:29 Copyright (c) 1988-2008 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition on Windows NT 5.2 <X86> (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)
Thanks,
Soorya

Soorya,
Did you put it at Program Files (x86)\...\100\DTS\Pipeline Components or Program Files\...\100\DTS\Pipeline Components. Also does your component reference SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2005 dll? I have found that component that reference SQL Server 2005 dll will not show up as part of your "Choose Toolbox Items" if you are using Visual Studio 2008.
