Hi SSIS Experts,
I populate sever worksheets in a workbook from SQL Server.
All of the numeric columns in excel have a green arrow in the top right hand corner.
It interprets it as a text field and it gives you the option of clicking on each cell and convert to a number.
I have attached Sample output.
It list the following as action to be taken and I have done all of that and a lot more.
I have CAST as a INT. Set the Data Types in the Data Conversion Task to a signed integer, formatted the Excel columns as numeric.
I'm having no luck.:crying:

I had the same problem with the phone & fax fields until I formatted them as (XXX) XXX-XXXX.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Why is there an entire Excel manual in your post? I'm not really going to be bothered by reading it all...
Need an answer? No, you need a question

It is not exactly a manual but if you click to the right of a cell with an error it pops up the help text.
I removed it.
