How do I test this? Some document mentions: implicit and explicit mode.
Where do I go to set this mode? and have you heard of "SQL Server provider"?

This refers to database mirroring, which is not going to be a part of SQL 2k5 release.

As discussed in SQL 2005 roadshow they say it might come with SP1 release. Cheers - Babu.

To be clear, DBM will ship 1H06, thats not a maybe.
