  I have an SSIS package in which the OLE DB source of a data flow task is a stored procedure which is being pumped into a OLE DB destination. My question is I need to pad some 0 to several columns before it reaches the destination, what would be the best way to do this? do it in the source proc or is there an SSIS task that will do it. I would perfer the latter just for the experience.

  If its for experience, it would be fine.

  But ultimately, the sooner you can get it done (in other words at source), the better for your SSIS package
