Transcation Log Backup Restoration Time

    Hi

    Is anyone know please advice, how much time will take for restoration 250GB size transaction log backup to database.

    Highly appreciate your inputs.

    There is no way to estimate how long beforehand, there are too many variables involved (disk speed, IO performance, load on the server, how many VLFs in the log file being restored etc) but you can use this script to provide an ETA on the restore once it has started. Be aware that the ETA is not 100% accurate. Typically on large log backups or log files with many VLFs, the script will say 100% complete but the restore is still processing.
