Transactionl replication snapshot small .bcp files

    I have got various databases on customer sites ranging from 25GB to 150GB and approx 450 tables, which we replicate for reporting purposes.

    Sometimes when we create the snapshot we can get some tables create a 2GB .bcp file but another table can create 20 or so 10MB .bcp files?

    Is there any reason to this behavior as it does effect the time to replay the snapshot with the amount of small table?

    After doing some more investigation it might be down to -bcpthreads setting aggainst the snapshot agent.
