tracking data change

    Hi,

     

    I want to keep track of data change and want to enter the pk such as testkey and timing in different table. is it possible without having to write trigger on the table!!!

    Not in SQL 2005. You'll have to write the code somewhere. In a trigger, or in a procedure if all data modification is done through procedures.

    I would recommend a trigger for this.
