TOAD for SQL Server "Class not registered" Error

  I have downloaded the freeware TOAD for SQL Server from Quest's website.  When I run the executable (TOAD_SS.exe) contained in the download, I'm presented with a Server Login screen.  I created a new connection to one of our existing SQL Server databases using the tool to build a connection string.  When I click Test Connection from this tool, it succeeds.  Then when I actually attempt to connect to the database, I get the error, Class not registered.

  Has anyone seen this before?  Got any ideas for help?

  I was getting the same error. I ran the Toad setup again. Fixed the problem!
